BuckettLaw acted for an employee, a chief operating officer, who had been unjustifiably dismissed under the grounds of medical incapacity. The case was successful appealed to the Employment Court where the employee was found to have been unjustifiably dismissed and awarded compensation for the hurt and humiliation suffered, lost wages and a substantial contribution to his legal costs. The employer sought leave to appeal the case to the Court of Appeal, however BuckettLaw successfully defended that application and the Court’s decision.
